FCA is once again partnering with World Baseball Academy to bring you a developmental baseball and softball league geared toward 7-12 year olds! This 5 week league will be centered around both athletic and spiritual development and will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from September 8th - October 8th. There will be two divisions to sign up for: Softball (7-10 yrs and 11-12 yrs); Baseball (7-9 and 10-12). The first week of the league will be a "camp" week to give the instructors a chance to evaluate skills as well as to explain the rules of the league and help players get a feel for the style of play. Throughout the course of the season players will participate in a 3-team developmental style of gameplay that will allow your athlete to develop his/her skills while increasing the pace of the game. Cost of the league is $100. A $20 reimbursement will be offered to anyone who volunteers to "coach." Coaches in this league are not in charge of a single team but rather help facilitate game play and offer instruction in the dugouts and along baselines. All coaches will assist on the field where their child is playing, however. Baseball and softball leagues will be capped at 60 participants each (30 per division) with any additional players being added to a waitlist.
